Stark Xpress: Shop Policies & Artist Disclosure

REPURPOSED ARTISTRY & NON-AFFILIATION POLICY

1. Solo Artist & Independent Status Stark Xpress is the independent art project of a single solo artist. Every item is hand-drawn, hand-painted, cut, and assembled by me in my San Francisco garage. I am not a factory or a studio, and I am not an authorized partner of the MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, or any of their respective member clubs or Players Associations.

2. Transformative Nature of the Work My work consists of handcrafted artistic tributes. To ensure historical accuracy for each piece, materials are sourced from legally purchased authentic retail, curated second-hand garments, or custom-commissioned textiles. These materials are deconstructed and materially altered from their original form to create an original work of art. Pursuant to the First Sale Doctrine (17 U.S.C. § 109), I exercise my right as an artist to use and modify physical goods that have been legally acquired.

3. Material Alteration & Source Material These items are materially altered from their original state and are sold as "Stark Xpress Original Art." I source only authentic garments for my relics; however, I am not an authorized authenticator for the original manufacturers. I do not replicate official logos; any trademarks appearing are part of the original, legally purchased source material.

4. Artist Illustration & Hand-Painted Variance All player depictions are original, transformative illustrations. Because every pin is hand-painted and every relic is hand-cut in a garage setting, slight variations in color, texture, and finish are to be expected. These are not defects, but the unique fingerprints of a handcrafted art piece.

EDITION CLARIFICATION

  • 1st Edition (Relic Series): The most exclusive tier. Limited runs (e.g., 1/50) featuring a hand-painted pin in High Polished Gold metal. Each pin is stamped "1st Edition" and laser-numbered on the back. This tier includes a gold-foil embossed backing card and an upcycled jersey relic. These are generally ready-to-ship.

  • 1st Edition (Color-Flip): Made-to-Order. Limited runs (e.g., 1/15 or 1/25) using the original 1st Edition mold and High Polished Gold metal. These feature alternate uniform colors (Home, Away, or Alternate) and are laser-numbered and stamped "1st Edition."
    Note: Color-Flips do not include jersey relics.

  • 2nd Edition: Made-to-Order. These features High Polished Silver metal and standard cardstock. These are not laser-numbered or stamped "1st Edition".
    Note: 2nd Editions do not include jersey relics.

SHIPPING & ADDRESS ACCURACY

I personally package and ship every order from my San Francisco garage.

  • Lead Times: Please allow 3–5 business days for ready-to-ship Relic Series items and 7–14 business days for Made-to-Order items (Color-Flips and 2nd Editions) to be hand-painted and prepared.

  • Address Accuracy: All orders will be shipped to the address entered during checkout. Please double-check the accuracy of this address.

  • Corrections: If there is an issue with your address, please message me immediately via email or social media so I can accommodate the change before the item is dispatched.

  • Responsibility: I am not responsible for carrier delays or packages delivered to incorrectly entered addresses.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

I offer a variety of secure payment methods to ensure a smooth checkout process:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Securely processed via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover).

  • PayPal: Checkout using your PayPal account or guest checkout.

  • Digital Wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Meta Pay.

  • Direct Checkout: Shop Pay.

Note: All transactions are encrypted. For your security, I never see or store your full credit card information.

RETURNS, EXCHANGES & SAFETY

  • All Sales Final: Due to the extremely limited, handcrafted nature of these runs, all sales are final. I do not offer returns or exchanges. If an item arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and product.

  • Safety Warning: These items are intended for adult collectors as wearable art. They contain sharp points and small parts. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All character illustrations, pin designs, and card layouts are original works of art created by me. My work is a transformative artistic interpretation and does not claim to be an official representation of any athlete’s brand. If sharing my work on social media, please credit @stark_xpress.
